The Installation
The smart pool owner knows a solar pool heating system is an investment; the return on that investment being in the form of a longer, more comfortable swim season. But, did you know that a solar system is one of the few home improvements that actually adds 100% of its cost to the resale value of your home?* By comparison, a kitchen remodel only holds about 70% of its cost-to-value.
With energy prices and pollution at an all-time high (and rising), heating a pool exclusively with fossil-fuels is a luxury our planet can no longer afford. By adding a solar pool heater to your home, you are making a statement in your own financial security; putting you back in control of your own energy costs.
Installation of a solar pool heater is relatively simple, and takes an average crew of two about a day to complete. Collectors are generally roof mounted, but can be installed anywhere they can receive sunlight a good portion of the day (about 6-8 hours each day). Though easy to install, we strongly recommend hiring someone with the necessary experience to do the installation. Failure to observe safe practices on a roof or other elevated structure may result in falling, leading to serious injury to you.
We know that a satisfied and educated system owner is our best form of advertising. In fact, most of our Dealers' new customers come by way of word-of-mouth from existing customers. To that end, we suggest our Dealers explain the solar pool heating systems installation procedure,, as well as system operation, to new system owners till they themselves can explain it to a friend, family member, or neighbor. Our Dealer Network is comprised of some of the most elite solar contractors in the United States and beyond, and will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way.
