Step 1

Using a special proprietary formulation of polypropylene, every component of our solar collectors is extruded in its basic form on two concurrent extrusion lines. Our extrusion team brings over 50 years of experience to this process and the result is unmatched quality and consistency in our components.

Step2

Pinpoint timing and tolerances are required to assemble each collector into it's final form. All connections between the collector body and header are made by our exclusive Thermal Welding process that creates a seamless weld at all connection points. Because the entire collector is made from the same material (including the weld), there are no weak points or dissimilar materials to create problems of uneven expansion and contraction in the finished product.

Every collector is tested to 50 psi before leaving our facility. Testing is now completely automated to remove any human error factor and warranty claims have averaged less than 1/2 of 1% for the past ten years. This means your warranty covers the best built, best backed solar pool heating collector in the world! Best of all, Solar Industries solar collectors are proudly made in the USA by the most skilled workers in the industry.
